About Frankyles

Frankyles spelled ‘Franky-Les’ is a multi-talented South African music producer, beat-maker and sample pack composer. Franky’s genres of focus include Hip-Hop, R&B and Pop Music for production. Like most audiophiles and average music consumers he makes time to listen to other musical genres such as electronic, Lo-fi. Being a big fan of film music and film scoring allows him to use this as an avenue to draw most of his inspiration.

Franky started his musical journey at the age of 14 when he was introduced to Image-Line’s FL Studio (also known as fruity loops) music-production software by his brother as He was always a curious computer nerd (and still is) fascinated about how music is made. FL Studio seemed to be the perfect pastime since he could do it while sitting in front of his computer. It didn’t take too long for him to understand the basic functions and concepts of the software and began making beats while further improving his knowledge. He has been able to successfully showcase his production skills on his YouTube channel as well as producing some artist’s projects.

Currently, Frankyles continues to work on his craft and refine his skills by composing samples, making beats as well as Mixing & Mastering music for various independent artists. He also shares his music production knowledge and journey on his channel with over 1000 subscribers and counting.
